I happened to come across a PDF file of gnomes on Etsy, so I purchased it immediately. As soon as I opened it, I knew it was something I wanted to create in Procreate, captivated by the whimsical designs and the vibrant colors. Yellow just happens to be one of my favorites; it’s such a cheerful hue that wakes me up and makes me feel alive whenever I see the bright color. Its warmth and energy always bring a smile to my face, inspiring my creativity. I know I always say this, but I truly had an incredible amount of fun making this piece. To add more depth to my work, I crafted the bees and the flowers on a separate canvas in Procreate. This way, I can easily reuse them whenever I like, just like I’m doing here; I simply copied the elements from one canvas to another, allowing me to maintain a consistent theme throughout my artwork. It’s such a fulfilling process, merging different elements to create a vivid scene that reflects my love for bright colors and playful imagery.
